Appeal for potential victims of housing fraud in the Barking and Dagenham area

This morning, Thursday 4th September, officers from the City of London Police’s Domestic Corruption Unit executed multiple warrants in Dagenham and Essex as part of an investigation into suspected housing fraud offences linked to Barking and Dagenham Council.

The allegations are linked to multiple properties in the Barking and Dagenham area.

Two individuals were arrested and taken to Bishopsgate custody to be interviewed. The City of London Police continues to work closely with Barking and Dagenham Council as enquiries into the alleged offences remain ongoing.
